Season 7 has already dropped some incredible character moments for both sides, but fans of the manga will know very well that the upcoming season is also going to be an absolute blast, but it’s these characters who fans should be keeping an eye on most.

Aizawa
The Teacher Of Class 1-A Still Has Some Fight Left In Him
Aizawa has already taken a pretty severe beating, which makes sense considering he bravely tried to shut down Shigaraki with his Erasure quirk. However, while a lot of the heroes are down for the count, the courageous teacher of class 1-A would never abandon a fight, and he’ll be able to make his final stand, along with the other remaining heroes, in the next season.
Aizawa has always been there to help Deku throughout the story whenever he finds himself in dire straits, so it only makes sense that he would go beyond his limits to try and reach his student during such a time of crisis. Despite his vision being almost completely gone, Aizawa is determined to still see the war through until the very end.

All For One
The ‘Demon Lord’ Demonstrates His True Power
For a good portion of season 7, fans witness almost every hero that had been introduced in the series being completely annihilated by All For One and his arsenal of deadly Quirks. Things may be looking pretty bad for the heroes, but All For One has also received a ton of damage, resulting in his Rewind ability going into overdrive. By the end of season 7, once All Might managed to intercept him, All For One had turned back into a teenager, which definitely didn’t seem to be a part of his plan initially.

All Might
All Might Proves That He Can Still Be A Hero, Despite Being Quirkless
- Quirk: One For All (Former Holder)
It feels like a lifetime ago now that All Might stepped down from being the number one hero. Since then, while he has still been a key character in the story, he hasn’t been able to contribute all that much due to losing his Quirk. However, the strongest hero to have ever lived wasn’t going to just sit by idly with a war going on, so it was a real treat for long-time fans to see All Might gearing up in his badass support gear in the final episode of season 7.
In many ways, this is All Might’s final chance to prove himself as a hero, since there’s no villain who’s going to be a bigger test of his strength than All For One. On the other hand, his arch rival isn’t going to give up the chance to kill All Might if he finds the opportunity; this epic battle is going to shine a light on a hero who has been out of action for far too long.

Tomura Shigaraki
All For One’s Protege Is So Close To Achieving His Nihilistic Dream
- Quirk: Decay / All For One
Shigaraki has always been considered strong, but since he was experimented on by Garaki, he has become an unstoppable killing machine who is capable of destroying entire landscapes in the blink of an eye. After acquiring the All For One Quirk, Shigaraki’s body begins to mutate uncontrollably, until eventually, Deku is able to launch him down to the surface, kicking off the final duel.

These impactful fights were some of the most important in the history of My Hero Academia.
While fans were able to see the beginning of this climactic battle in season 7, there’s still plenty more action from where that came from. With his mind being fractured due to the influence of All For One, Shigaraki showed signs of disobeying his master in the most recent episodes, and it’s clear that something is brewing underneath the surface. Shigaraki is going to receive some amazing moments in the coming season, so fans of the tragic villain will definitely have a lot to look forward to.

Bakugo
Bakugo Gets One Final Shot To Show What He’s Made Of With His Awakened Quirk
One of the saddest moments in the entire series is when Bakugo is seemingly killed by Shigaraki and thrown aside like he was nothing. This was a scene in season 7 that had many fans shocked to the core, though thankfully, the fan-favorite hero wouldn’t stay down for long. As a last resort, Bakugo was revived by Edgeshot, who was able to use his Quirk to essentially stitch Bakugo’s organs back together.
Thanks to Edgeshot, Bakugo will get one final chance to show just how far he’s come and why he has what it takes to be called a true hero. Considering Bakugo awakened his Quirk while fighting Shigaraki, and also introduced his brand-new Panzer Gear, it’s going to be a feast for the eyes seeing this guy in action one final time.
1
Deku
It’s Time For Deku To Serve His Purpose As An Inheritor Of One For All
- Quirk: One For All / Blackwhip / Fa Jin / Smokescreen / Danger Sense / Gearshift / Float /
It can be easy to forget that Deku was once a sniveling kid who didn’t even have a Quirk to call his own, considering that, by this point in the story, he’s an absurdly powerful hero who is in possession of multiple abilities at once. After spending enough time with the previous users of One For All, Deku has come to realize that the central purpose of the Quirk is to defeat All For One; to end the countless years of suffering that the ability and its users have inflicted on the world.
Deku’s main goal at the beginning of the series was to become a hero, and while he’s definitely done more than enough to earn that title, Shigaraki is ultimately the final test. With that in his mind, Deku is going to need to pull out all that stops him to save Japan from being utterly annihilated, so while he may be someone who often doubts himself, this final battle with his rival is his opportunity to shine.
