We have to admit, we did not see this coming. As you know, April Fools’ Day is fast approaching. The developers decided to do something a little bit different to mark the occasion. They noted that the players would be able to claim the easter egg in the Galacta’s Cosmic Adventure event. Some Marvel Rivals leaks claim it will be the long-requested Venom emote.
The New Patch Will Feature an Easter Egg
On March 26, the developers announced a new patch was coming very soon. The patch is scheduled for March 27, and it will bring some cool fixes. However, it’ll also deliver an easter egg that the players will be able to see (and claim) on April 1.
The devs stated: “We’ve added a special April Fool’s Easter Egg gift! Remember, only those who collect all rewards from Galacta’s Cosmic Adventure will unlock this hidden twist surprise. The Easter Egg gift can be claimed from April 1, 2025, 00:00:00 (UTC+0) until April 4, 2025, 00:00:00 (UTC+0)”.

Alongside, the devs posted an image of the map for the Galacta’s Cosmic Adventure event. Right there, in the center of the map, one can see the upcoming easter egg. But what is it? Well, it seems that the devs listened to the community once more.
A Marvel Rivals leaks account on X claimed it was the Venom twerk emote. Rivals Leaks stated: “Venom Twerk emote is coming….. (Yes, I’m serious)”. This account also posted a zoomed-in photo of the easter egg from the devs’ announcement, and, um, we think they are right.

Marvel Rivals Players Love the Venom Emote
Funnily enough, the community adored this idea. Sometimes, leaks confirming the arrival of the Venom twerk emote are everything a person needs to make their day better. So, players raved about the upcoming emote.
One player, ConfidenceSilent3967, noted: “They know what they’re doing. Since day 1”. Other players pointed out that they had been asking for this emote for a while. However, some were concerned that the whole thing was just a practical joke for April Fools’ Day.
Truth be told, even if it turned out to be a joke, we appreciate it thoroughly. It would show that the devs and the community share the same sense of humor. The only thing we can do now is to wait and see. In the meantime, be nice, enjoy the game, and see you out there.
