The Rarest Items In Terraria
Re-Logic’s Terraria contains thousands of items, some of which are extremely difficult to obtain. What the rarest items in the sandbox game?
How to Find Stone in Terraria Skyblock
- Stone is dropped from Slime Stones, which require you to use a rope to go deep past the underground.
To begin, chop the starter tree for wood and use gel from blue slimes to craft slime blocks for walls and make a simple house with the following items: a door, a workbench, and a torch. This brings the Merchant NPC, who sells rope for 10 silver coins each. You’re going to want to buy lots of rope, as it’s how you can create a long chain to climb down safely.
Tie your rope to the island edge and drop into the sky void. Keep going past underground (light gray background) to the cavern layer (dark stone backdrop with bats). When you’re deep enough, you’ll find Slime Stones.
Farm Slimes for Stone Blocks
Build a big flat platform (20–30 blocks wide) with wood or slime blocks so that you can run back and forth to make slimes spawn faster. Look for rocky gray Stone Slimes – they look like normal slimes with stone chunks inside and give you the “Stoned” slow debuff if they touch you. Destroy them with your starting weapon or gel sword for a quick kill! Each kill drops 1–3 stone blocks, plus ores, life crystals for extra hearts, and cool stuff like conveyor belts. Farm 20–50 slimes for enough stone to start crafting.

How to Use Stone in Terraria Skyblock
Climb back up with your stone haul and craft a furnace on the island. Now smelt ores into bars for an anvil, which rewards you with better pickaxes and armor. Stone is the key to unlocking everything, including The Dungeon, farms, and boss fights.
Play on small worlds for quicker farming of the material, and team up in multiplayer so that while one of you farms, the other can build. Once you have stone, feel free to plant acorns in dirt for endless wood. This way, you will dominate this fun seed really fast.
