Even more hubbub concerning the PlayStation State of Play. Practically Sony’s biggest livestream, the time and date of the next State of Play is a hotly debated topic. The last one was all the way back in September 2024, so we are really due for another one. NateTheHate, a reliable insider, claims that the next PlayStation State of Play is coming in February.
State of Play is Sony’s livestream event where they showcase the upcoming games and share news with their fans, such as upcoming games, release dates, and hardware and software improvements. It is one of the most popular gaming broadcasts of today.
NateTheHate Claims That the Next PlayStation State of Play Is Coming in February
It’s been more than three months since the last State of Play, and rumors point toward the next one being very very close. We recently heard claims that the first SoP of 2025 is scheduled for late January (January 28 or January 29, to be more specific). But, those claims were made by an insider that many deem unreliable, so it was taken with a grain of salt.
On the other hand, just now, a well-known insider, NateTheHate2, who proved right on many occasions, had this to say. When asked does he know anything about the next State of Play, he answered: “How’s February sound?”
This happened right after the official announcement for Nintendo Switch 2, which NateTheHate predicted would happen on January 16. And happened it did, as you can see in Nintendo’s official Switch 2 Trailer. We saw so many teasers and predictions about the upcoming PlayStation games, and fans expect to see some news about Ghost of Yotei, Wolverine, Death Stranding 2, or Horizon Online.
Of course, regardless of how reliable the insider is, we’d still like to see some official information.
