Official Black Myth: Wukong-Themed Wireless Controller Gets Rare Discount

Black Myth: Wukong fans can score a rare deal on 8BitDo’s officially licensed controller themed around the game at Amazon. 8BitDo’s budget-friendly Black Myth: Wukong Edition Ultimate 2C Wireless Controller is on sale for $29.72 (was $35). The wired version of the same controller is up for grabs for $21 (was $25). A roughly $5 discount may not sound like much, but due to the low MSRP on this budget-friendly controller, this is about as substantial as it gets. The Ultimate 2C is compatible with PC and Android.

8BitDo Ultimate 2C vs. flagship Ultimate Controllers

The 2C is the budget version in 8BitDo’s flagship Ultimate Controller series. The manufacturer recently released the Ultimate 2 and Ultimate 2 Bluetooth Controllers, which include the pair of remappable shoulder buttons found on the Ultimate 2C as well as the back buttons from the original Ultimate. These new controllers also offer an upgrade from Hall Effect to TMR electromagnetic sticks, include adjustable trigger locks for the first time, and feature various other quality-of-life improvements.

You can save on the Ultimate 2 for PC and Android as well as the Ultimate 2 Bluetooth for Switch and PC at Amazon. Check out our dedicated story on the Ultimate 2 for more details.

“It’s not uncommon to go from one boss fight into another and then another, and it’s in these elaborate battles where Black Myth: Wukong shines,” Richard Wakeling wrote in GameSpot’s Black Myth: Wukong review. The moments in between, however, aren’t quite as strong, sometimes devolving into aimless tedium. But its satisfying combat and unique variety of boss fights mostly manages to overcome these flaws.”
