“Only Two?” Event Quests Take a Step Back as Monster Hunter Wilds Players Prepare for the First Collab

A new week means new Quests! With the Street Fighter 6 collab also coming this week, the Monster Hunter Wilds devs decided to keep the Event Quests simple and allow the players to fully enjoy the collab. Still, the players who like to grind will have a solid opportunity to do so!

Monster Hunter Wilds Players Will Have Two Event Quests This Week

As always, you have until Tuesday/Wednesday (depending on where you live) to complete the previous Event Quests. One of those Quests (Running Wild) will continue this week, so you can prioritize the others, as they are coming to an end.

This week, you’ll have only two Event Quests: the aforementioned Running Wild and the King of a Faraway Sky. Neither of these is new nor exclusive, but you can still gain a lot by completing them. So, let’s go over them briefly.

Running Wild. This is a 5★ Quest. You need to be HR 21 or higher to participate. It takes place in the Ruins of Wyveria, where you have to hunt the Guardian Fulgur Anjanath. The summary notes: “Gather special materials and obtain Sealed Dragon Cloth α headgear”. This Quest started last week on May 20 (5 PM UTC-7), and it lasts all through this week, until June 3 (4.59 PM UTC-7).

King of a Faraway Sky. This is a 6★ Quest. You need to be HR 31 or higher to participate. You’ll have to hunt the Tempered Guardian Rathalos in Ruins of Wyveria. Per the summary: “An event quest for obtaining Artian materials you can use to forge Artian weapons”. It starts on May 27 (5 PM UTC-7) and lasts until June 3 (4.59 PM UTC-7).

So, you’ll have plenty of time to finish both of these Event Quests, all while enjoying the Monster Hunter Wilds x Street Fighter 6 collab. We’re quite sure the collab will bring plenty of quests you’ll be able to enjoy and complete for goodies, but the devs haven’t revealed all the details just yet.
