We finally got some news about PH0. It is confirmed by the devs that Phantom Blade Zero will have eight different endings and three game modes.
Phantom Blade Zero is the talk of the town. Even though there is absolutely no word on the release date, we get more and more tidbits of info. We saw what it looks like and the general theme of the game, and recently, Andy Cortez mentioned that he played the game for a bit quite recently and that he can’t wait to share it with us, during the next Kinda Funny Games gamecast. The time is now, so let’s see what’s up with Phantom Blade Zero.
Phantom Blade Zero – Three Game Modes and Eight Endings
On March 19/20 (depending on your Time Zone), Kinda Funny Games had another broadcast where they talked about some popular games of today. On the topic of Phantom Blade Zero, Andy shared his impressions and a couple of peculiar facts about the game: Phantom Blade Zero will have three game modes/difficulty levels and eight different endings.
Three Game Modes
First of all, Phantom Blade Zero will be challenging but not in Soulslike-leves. The idea is for everyone to have fun and there will be different game modes for every type of gamers, from casual to hardcore.
“It’s gonna have a Story Mode and a Normal Mode, and then it’s gonna have like an Extreme Mode that takes out a lot of premade combos…the enemies will start to react more to your moves if you start to spam stuff…they got some really cool stuff happening in this game.”
Eight Different Endings
Even though it is a bit too early to talk about endings in a game whose release date is still unknown, Andy said: “There’s gonna be eight different endings, having to do with side quests and the main quest.” This goes to show that your choices really do matter in the end, which is not something that you’d expect from a regular action game.
We still don’t know anything about the release date other than this year, 2025, we will get the release date, meaning that the game may still be miles away from being released. Hopefully, we won’t have to wait for too long.
