A collab in Monster Hunter Wilds? Already? If you haven’t had a chance to watch the devs’ Showcase for the upcoming free update, we have some huge news for you. The developers announced they were working on a collaboration with another Capcom title. This collab is set to drop at the end of May. The exact release date and more details will be announced at a later date.
Monster Hunter Wilds Players Suggest Their Top Picks for a Collaboration
MH Wilds is published by Capcom. This company was established in 1979, and since then, it has published lots of massively popular games. Monster Hunter Wilds will soon have a collab with one of those games!
A gaming company can’t exist for almost 46 years without doing something right. So, there are plenty of MH Wilds players who enjoy other Capcom titles as well. They gladly shared which crossovers they’d love to see.
Some players suggested Dragon’s Dogma. King_Raum noted: “As much as I doubt the Dragon’s Dogma, the Wilds Bow is very close to Magic Archer. And, I could see some cool weapon skins come outta there”.
Devil May Cry was also a popular suggestion. Gabriel_TC_ explained: “My guess is that it will be Devil May Cry since a series will be released in April on Netflix”. Cyrisaurus chirped in: “Vergil layered armor and Yamato Longsword that has a special Judgement Cut effect when you do the mount finisher”.
Street Fighter had to make the list! Emergency-Degree-986 stated: “Street fighter. They’ll give us an exclusive weapon where we can throw hands against the monsters, no weapons needed”. Another player added: “Fighting Collection 2 launches in May.. I’m hoping something cool like Power Stone, but it’ll probably be Street Fighter”.
Many players agreed that Onimusha would probably be the coolest collab. Persellianare noted: “Weird no one has said Onimusha yet considering they recently announced a new entry since the last one was 20 years ago”.
