The broadcast will be aimed specifically at players in Japan and Asia
Surprise! There’ll be a new PlayStation State of Play showcase this week. State of Play Japan, a broadcast “curated for” players in Japan and Asia, will stream on Tuesday, Nov. 11 at 5 p.m. EST/2 p.m. PST. (That’s 7 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov 12 in Japan.)
The show will be broadcast in Japanese with English subtitles on PlayStation’s YouTube channel. The host will be Yuki Kaji, a prolific anime and video game voice actor.
According to the PlayStation Blog, the episode will run for more than 40 minutes and will focus on games from Japan and across Asia, “alongside a few other exciting updates.”
Perhaps we’ll see more of the PS5-exclusive Arc System Works fighting game Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls during the stream. We can only hope!
