Marvel Rovals, like any other game, sometimes gets frustrating. Whether you are once again a solo Tank, trying to heal Spider-Man, or waiting for a support to heal you, some moments that are universally perceived as annoying. After a long day, we all want to relax, and sometimes the everyday stress gets the best of us. It’s only human to overreact, but it’s also human to realize that we could (and should) try to be better. Recently, Marvel Rivals players discussed whether one should put in the extra effort into being polite, or it was sometimes okay to give in and spread toxic behaviour.
Marvel Rivals Players Should Always Thank the Strategists
Do you ping “Thank you” once the Strategist heals you? It might seem like an obvious act, but surprisingly enough, healers more often get mistreated and yelled at than thanked. It’s usually quite a thankless job. Some players yell at the healers if they don’t heal them immediately. Some players yell at them for being “too slow”, even after the healers have healed them. This causes fewer and fewer players wanting to play support, and raises the tension in a team.
Well, thankfully, the Marvel Rivals community realizes the importance of good manners and being polite. Numerous players raved about the significance of thanking your healer every time they jump in and save the day. Or, of course, anyone who saves them or helps in any way.
TechnicianGreen7755 stated: “I always ping thank you when I play Magik and come back from my dive activities to get some healing. Her thank you voice lines are incredibly good lol, she says ‘Spasibo’ (literally thank you but in Russian) with a very cute accent”.
One player, Rystein25, added: “I really loathe the ping system in this game. But, I’m certainly screaming thank you to all of you that pop the timely ults and fight off the dives, in between curses, of course”.

Being Polite Can Be a Game Changer
There are more ways that being polite can help you. One of the most notable examples is the solo tank problem. In our experience, usually when a player realizes they’re the only Vanguard on the team, they (understandably) get annoyed. Some might start arguing and threatening they’d leave if someone didn’t switch. However, there’s an easier way to deal with the lack of tanks – just ask politely.
One player, ravanor621, noted: “Honestly, trying to be even a little funny when you are asking somebody to switch or do something is way more effective than the usual being toxic”.
Remember that other players are also playing the game for fun and enjoyment. Treat others as you’d want to be treated. No one needs more stress in their life! Small changes can lead to bigger ones. So, take it easy, joke around, thank your support, enjoy yourself, and see you out there.
