Pokémon Go‘s new “Precious Paths” season is in full effect, so of course there’s a new seasonal Special Research set that came with it.
As usual with these types of research, you can claim this until the season ends on March 3 at 9:59 a.m. in your local time. Once you start the research, it will never disappear, so you can take your time completing it as necessary.
Below, we list the steps for Pokémon Go‘s “Precious Paths” Special Research.

‘Precious Paths’ step 1 of 12
- Catch 30 Pokémon (Sprigatito encounter)
- Use 15 berries to help catch Pokémon (Fuecoco encounter)
- Spin 10 PokéStops or gyms (Quaxly encounter)
Rewards: 3 Rare Candy, 999 XP, 999 Stardust
‘Precious Paths’ step 2 of 12
- Power up Pokémon 15 times (Lechonk encounter)
- Earn 20 hearts with your buddy (999 XP)
- Take a snapshot of your buddy (999 Stardust)
Rewards: 1 Poffin, 999 XP, 999 Stardust
‘Precious Paths’ step 3 of 12
- Battle in the Go Battle League 5 times (1 Charged TM)
- Use 10 supereffective charged attacks (1 Fast TM)
- Win a raid with your buddy (5 Max Revives)
Rewards: Primeape encounter, 999 XP, 999 Stardust

- Use 5,000 Stardust (Fidough encounter)
- Purify 3 shadow Pokémon (999 XP)
- Defeat 5 Team Go Rocket Grunts (999 Stardust)
Rewards: 2 Silver Pinap Berries, 999 XP, 999 Stardust
