Pokemon TCG Pocket Shining Revelry Card List (A2b)
The Shining Revelry themed booster adds 111 cards to Pokemon TCG Pocket, including nine new ex cards and 14 shiny Pokemon.
When fans first discovered this fresh accessory, they expected it to be more accessible compared to previous emblems. After all, it only requires collecting one specific common card. However, they soon realized that TCG Pocket‘s formula remains unchanged, and the new secret Gholdengo emblem is just as challenging to obtain as other secret accessories.
For those eager to grind for this rare item, the following guide outlines the necessary steps. However, it is important to note that free-to-play players have limited chances of unlocking the Gholdengo emblem. So, don’t get your hopes up if you’re unwilling to spend on the game’s microtransactions.
How to Get the Secret Gholdengo Emblem
To get the secret Gholdengo emblem, you will need to complete the Gimmighoul Collection mission. This themed collection requires you to collect numerous copies of the new one-diamond-rarity Gimmighoul card that’s part of the Shining Revelry mini-set.
Note that you will not see a specific task in the Themed Collection menu, as it is one of Shining Revelry’s secret missions. You will unlock the reward and see the progression only after completing it.
How to Complete the Gimmighoul Collection Mission
You must collect 99 copies of the one-diamond Psychic-type Gimmighoul card. Currently, the only way to do so is by opening Shining Revely packs or crafting, as trading is not available for this set.

How Many Packs You Need to Unlock Shining Revelry’s Secret Emblem
Given that the required Gimmighoul card has a 3.125% drop rate, you will likely need to open over 630 packs to collect 99 copies of it.
This is significant because the objective may initially appear more accessible than the previous secret emblem missions. However, those objectives could generally be completed after opening around 500 booster packs, suggesting that the Gholdengo secret emblem could indeed become one of the rarest cosmetic items in the game.
How Many Pack Points Do You Need to Get Gholdengo’s Emblem?
If you choose to unlock Shining Revelry’s secret emblem with TCG Pocket’s Pack Points, you’ll need to spend 3,465 points on crafting Gimmighoul copies. That’s equivalent to opening over 500 booster packs or spending more than $500.
If you only open free daily packs, it takes about 250 days to open 500 packs. Therefore, the grind for the Gholdengo secret emblem could easily require up to a year of your time.
The Subtle Reference Behind the New Secret Emblem Mission
The Gimmighoul Collection secret mission references how you evolved this Pokemon into Gholdengo in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet. In that game, you needed to collect 999 Gimmighoul Coins for evolution, which explains the requirement of 99 Gimmighoul copies to unlock the secret Gholdengo emblem.
There is another new emblem in the game featuring Giratina. You can unlock it by collecting 100 Shining Revelry Emblem Tickets, which are earned by completing various themed collection missions and event-exclusive tasks.
