The casual game called PowerWash Simulator 2 is a relaxing game with a load of lore. While you are cleaning up several vehicles, homes, and businesses, you will learn a lot about your neighbors in the weird world of Caldera County.
As you progress your way through the story, you will be able to complete the forty achievements just by completing levels, picking up some odd items, petting the kitties, and cleaning some things in a specific order. Here is how to 100% PowerWash Simulator 2 for yourself.
All PowerWash Simulator 2 Gameplay Achievements
There are three achievements that can be picked up just by playing through this unique day-one Xbox Game Pass release. So these will be the easiest to pick up; basically, all you have to do is clean every level and complete the map in career mode.
- Geo-Cashing Achievement: In the Home Base, select a job using the Job Map.
- All Moved In Achievement: Complete the Removals Van Job, which is the first job, in Career Mode.
- Deep Lore Achievement: In the Temple Interior job, descend the stairs.
- It All Comes out in the Wash (Secret) Achievement: Complete all jobs in Career Mode.
There are also a handful of trophies that are picked up by purchasing items in the store. Most of these require you to purchase a washer and each of its attachments without selling any of them.
- Leading Light Achievement: Own either light-duty washer and all its attachments at the same time in this relaxing sim game.
- Flush Surface Achievement: Own the surface cleaner and all of its attachments at the same time.
- Happy Medium Achievement: Own either medium-duty washer and all its attachments at the same time.
- Heavy Water Achievement: Own either a heavy-duty washer and all of its attachments at the same time.
- Consummate Professional Achievement: Own a professional-duty washer and all its attachments at the same time.
- Maxed Out Achievement: Own every washer and all their attachments at the same time.
Using a Specific Nozzle Achievements
Sometimes, to get an achievement, you will need to clean any level with a very specific nozzle and nothing else, or use specific equipment. These four trophies are available in either Career Mode or free play.
- Double Top Achievement: Complete any job using only the UrbanX Double turbo nozzle.
- Three-Pronged Approach Achievement: Complete any job using only the Prime Vista Triple-Tip nozzle.
- Staying Adaptable Achievement: Complete any job using only the Adaptable nozzle.
- High Pressure Achievement: Complete a washing task while abseiling. The first job with abseiling is the billboard cleaning job.
Achievements for Equipping Items in PowerWash Simulator 2
Four of the goals in PowerWash Simulator 2 require you to change the colors or styles of your washer, your outfit, your van, or change out the furnishings in your office. Here is how to get all four.
- Dressed for Success Achievement: Equip an item of clothing in the coat hanger menu.
- Radical Rebrand Achievement: Apply any skin to your van.
- Washing with Style Achievement: Apply any skin to a washer.
- Home Decor Achievement: In the Home Base, clean and place any piece of furniture that can be purchased in the shop.
Hidden Items and Challenges Achievements
The next four achievements will take a little bit more explaining; you’ll need to find and manipulate a certain object, find all three kitties to pet, or similar.
Purr Bonding Achievement
There are three cats in your home base; two are located to the right of the jobs map under the TV. The other is on the other side of this same room, next to the couch. The mom cat’s name is Ulysses, and she is from the first game. The other two cats are her babies, Bubbles and Squeak. If you pet all three in the home base using the interact button, you will get this achievement.
Gnome from Home Achievement
This trophy is earned by finding the hidden gnome inside your home office; it’s located behind the door leading downstairs. Pick it up using the interact button, and you will complete it.
Rise and Shine Achievement
The first job that has both a gnome and a scissor lift is the Teapot level. All you have to do is place the gnome on the scissor lift, then press the up button until it reaches its full height.
Taking Note Achievement
Inside the home base, there is another room behind the map on the wall. In it, one of the walls has a giant corkboard covered in photos and articles. Interact with one of the articles on it to complete this challenge.
Specific Jobs with Specific Requirements
The last and largest group of achievements requires you to do a certain thing on a specific level. These have been put in the order they appear as you play through the Career Mode of this game.
Hit the Lights Achievement
The first level that has a specific achievement associated with it is the Campsite. You have to make sure to finish cleaning the three lanterns with the red nozzle before doing anything else. These will be on the ground; the hanging lantern will not count.
Doggy Bath Achievement
In Dog Car job, which will be the fourth level, you can powerwash. You will need to cover the whole car in soap. Change your nozzle until it is the soap nozzle, then use the soap until the whole car is covered from ears to tail.
Tea Time Achievement
There are six hidden gnomes around the Teapot level. Pick them up one at a time and drop them into each of the seats in the patio area. There are a total of six seats. Once you place the final gnome, you will get this achievement.
Where’s Woolly? Achievement
In the Shooting Gallery job in this fun and relaxing co-op game, there is a Bigfoot in the background that moves back and forth among the trees. Clean it first completely, and you will get this goal for it.
Drop the Ball Achievement
Behind the Gas Station job, you can find a small playground. There is a soccer ball on it; you need to push the ball down the slide. You can pick the soccer ball up and place it near the top of the slide, but you can’t place the ball directly on the slide.
Hatching a Plan Achievement
In the Bandstand Job in this game, you can play with friends on Steam, clean the hatch last. The hatch is in the very center of the gazebo’s floor.
Floor is Lava Achievement
In the Stone Circle job, you will need to jump around the eight pillars without touching the ground. The distance between the shortest pillar and the ones on either side of it is too large to easily jump, so you can put the step ladder in between the two to prevent touching the ground.
Flying Start Achievement
At the very top of the climbing wall of the Rock Climbing job, you will find a Pterodactyl. Clean its wings, body, legs, and tail all before cleaning anything else in the level, including the railing it is standing on.
Make it all Shine Achievement.
In the Roller Disco job in this easy-to-pick-up game, there are two rooms: the front room with the snack counters and skate rentals, and the back room with the disco skating floor. In the back room will be a disco ball hanging from the ceiling. You will need to clean it in its entirety before cleaning anything else. It’s very easy to accidentally clean the string the ball is hanging from, so be careful when washing it down.
Message Received Achievement
There is a vehicle job called the Car and Trailer job. On top of the trailer is a satellite dish that needs to be washed first before anything else is cleaned to get this trophy.
Door to Door Achievement
While you are at the Motel, you will need to clean the six doors, door handles, and door numbers on the room doors only first. Be careful not to clean the baseboards, the frame around the door, or the walls nearby.
Front Row Seats Achievement
To get this achievement, you will need to clean the first row of seating before cleaning anything else. This includes all the armrests, the base of the seats, each cushion, the backs, and the letter signs on each end of the row.
Ticket to Ride Achievement
You need to stay on the roller coaster the whole time while it is zooming around the track. In order to do this, you will probably want to crouch down while in the seat to make it easier to keep your balance. Next, press the button on the control panel in front of the coaster, then prepare for a dizzying ride around the park. You will need to stay on for a full loop for this to count.
Cosmic Ordering Achievement
This is the most challenging of all the trophies in this real-life sim game; you will need to first completely clean the Sun in the center, ignoring its stand and signage. Next, clean just the planets in order:
- Sun
- Mercury
- Venus
- Earth (You can clean the inside of Earth if you want to, but it is not required. You will need to ignore the moon.)
- Mars
- Jupiter
- Saturn
- Uranus
- Neptune
- There is no Pluto
Glassando! Achievement
The Fun House job has two achievements in it, and the first is the Glassando! trophy. This one requires that you head up to the second floor of this mad, dizzying building, find the keyboard. If you are facing the window behind it, you need to start on the left, spraying water at each key from low notes to high, including both the black and white keys.
Spin Doctor Achievement
The second achievement in the Fun House is to clean one of the several rotating discs on the floor with the surface cleaner, which is the flat, round powerwashing head. You can do this at any point; it doesn’t need to be the first thing you clean.
Wise Decision Achievement
In the center of the Shopping Mall, you will see a huge owl. Clean it first to get this trophy.
