LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight Reportedly Comes with a Bigger Version of Gotham City than Arkham Knight
The upcoming LEGO Batman game boasts a larger open-world rendition of Gotham City than that present in the highly rated Batman: Arkham Knight, suggests a Twitter account called LEGO Games News. The source states that LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight‘s version of the fictional location consists of four different islands, among which the South Island is the biggest one. In other words, the TT Games-developed title features one more island as part of Gotham City compared to Arkham Knight‘s three, which include Bleake Island, Founders Island, and Miagani Island. In a reply, the account also shared that the Batmobile, which can help players navigate the game’s vast map, plays “similar to Arkham Knight.”
Given that Batman: Arkham Knight had the largest rendition of Gotham City in the franchise, the new LEGO Batman game’s even bigger take seems exciting. Not only can the addition of an entire new island offer more variety, but it also paves the way for adding more points of interest to the in-game map and potentially a few more characters from the Batman lore to the game’s story.
