Rumors Claim That Gears of War Collection Will Be Announced at the Xbox Showcase 2025 for PlayStation 5

Some long-awaited Gears of War news and reveals are allegedly on the way. According to rumors, the Gears of War Collection will be announced at the Xbox Showcase 2025 for PlayStation 5, and Gears of War E-Day is allegedly scheduled for 2026.

Gears of War is a popular series of sci-fi third-person shooters. It started in 2006 with the first Gears of War game, made for Xbox 360. The games generally follow Marcus Fenix as the protagonist, protecting humanity from the subterranean Locust Horde. The series launched a bunch of spin-offs, books, comic books, and even a board game. The last Gears game, Gears 5, was released back in 2019. The next one, called Gears of War E-Day, is supposedly scheduled for 2026, according to a popular source. Furthermore, a collection of all Gears of War games is also supposedly coming to PS5.

A popular information source from Spain, eXtas1s says that a source has revealed to him that Gears of War E-Day is scheduled for 2026. There is also a small possibility that it will get moved to 2025. Furthermore, the source also revealed that the Gears of War Collection is scheduled for this year and will be officially revealed during the Xbox Showcase 2025. They add that there is no info on a Nintendo Switch 2 port.

On the other hand, a lot of gamers are skeptical about eXtas1s and his info.
