The Sanctum of Penitence in Crimson Desert is one of the four Sanctums that players are required to cleanse as per the request of the Witch of Wisdom, Elowen. The Sanctum will be contested by the Umbra Order, and players will need to first liberate it before attempting the puzzle to complete the cleansing. Here’s a quick guide on how players can complete the Sanctum of Penitence puzzle in Crimson Desert.

Sanctum of Penitence Location in Crimson Desert

Sanctum of Penitence Location Crimson Desert

The Sanctum of Penitence is located southeast of Hernand City in Crimson Desert, just beyond the Goldleaf Trading Post and the Sanctum of Temperance. Players will need to head to the nearest fast travel point and ride horseback towards the Sanctum.

Sanctum of Penitence Umbra Order Crimson Desert

Once you arrive at the Sanctum of Penitence, make sure to take care of the Umbra forces that are contesting the location. Keep defeating enemies till the liberation progress bar on the left reaches 0%. Once that happens, the Sanctum will be liberated, and you can proceed to cleanse it by solving the puzzle.

Sanctum of Penitence Fusion Reactor Core Crimson Desert

Solving the Sanctum of Penitence puzzle in Crimson Desert is much easier compared to all other Sanctums since you only need to find a single Fusion Reactor Core.

Simply head opposite the main machine, towards the south, into the ruins until you come across a staircase with broken flooring. You’ll find the Fusion Reactor Core in the rubble below, which you can grab with Axiom Force and seal inside your Kuku Pot.

After acquiring the Fusion Reactor Core, go up the staircase and drop down into the ruins below, surrounded by pillars. Go to the spot marked in the image above and wait for the ground to break below Kliff’s feet.

Kliff will fall into a hidden area in the ruins with a treasure chest. Opening the treasure chest will grant players the Blackwing Leather Gloves, which is an armor piece of the Crowcaller’s Blackwing armor set.

Sanctum of Penitence Solving Puzzle Crimson Desert

Once you’re finished exploring the ruins of the Sanctum of Penitence, simply head to the main machine, take out the Fusion Reactor Core, and place it over the pillar. Once you place it over the pillar, climb atop it and use an Aerial Force Palm to affix it into place.

Once you do that, the Sanctum of Penitence puzzle in Crimson Desert will be solved, and players will receive the Kuku Pack blueprint as a reward.
