But, the fact that Oda chose Sanji to be a Wing of the Pirate King means that he is far more reliable than the vast majority and more important when it comes to making Luffy the Pirate King in the first place. Just as Roger had Rayleigh and Gaban by his side before he became the Pirate King, Luffy has Zoro and Sanji. And just like Roger, Rayleigh, and Gaban were all said to be on the same tier of strength, with Roger slightly above them in terms of power, the same case will apply to the Straw Hat Pirates as well.
Both Zoro and Sanji are equal in terms of power, regardless of whether fans like to admit it or not. According to Gaban, the true power of Haki can only be controlled once the user is fully aware of it and learns how to control every inch of it. In other words, Zoro is actually not fighting properly at all.
His Haki control is incredibly sloppy, and he probably doesn’t even know how to utilize it to the best. That is precisely what Elbaf is for, and it is here that Zoro will learn how to bring out his Haki and how to efficiently utilize it in battle. Either Zoro and Sanji can fight the Holy Knights, in which case both of them have exciting battles lined up ahead of them. Zoro will most likely go on to take St. Sommers, given that he is a swordsman, while Sanji will most likely go on to fight against Killingham in that case. However, while this is an exciting matchup, there is an even more interesting fight lined up for these two — a battle against Dorry and Brogy.
As fans know, both Dorry and Brogy have been turned into demonic slaves by Imu. It would be a perfect match for Zoro and Sanji, who actually parallel these two in many ways. In either case, Zoro and Sanji have very interesting battles to test their newly awakened Haki in Elbaf, and fans absolutely cannot wait for that.
