After a long wait, they are finally here. Nexon revealed the Hot Springs skins and, unsurprisingly, The First Descendant players have gone crazy for them.
When the first swimsuit skins appeared, in the summer of 2024, the players went crazy. We can’t deny that the…appeal sells. And the devs know it. Those skins sold like hotcakes, and the worst part is that only a couple of characters had them. More specifically, only Valby and Viessa had swimsuit skins, and there was a universal one for the boys. The fans wanted more and were crestfallen when they realized they’d probably have to wait for the next summer. But, Nexon did us all a favor and announced that the Lunar New Year in Albion will be followed by a Hot Springs Event, where they plan to add more swimsuit skins. And that event is almost upon us!
The First Descendant Hot Springs Event Will Add New Swimsuit Skins
Nexon announced that the February 13 Update will add the Hot Springs event to The First Descendant, including new swimsuit Skins. In the most recent dev livestream, Nexon also revealed that a Hot Springs bath will be placed in Albion, where you can relax and even try out some new interactions. They also posted a special video, just for the event.
As for the skins themselves, it has been revealed that every girl will get her own version of a swimsuit skin and a new haircut (even Valby and Viessa will get a new one), and the guys will, once again, get a universal one. At least this one won’t use the same male model for everyone, like the one before. Now, let’s see those skins.

We expected a couple of swimsuit skins, but Nexon decided to give us all of them. Knowing how they usually don’t pay much attention to male skins, even the one for the guys is pretty cool. And we don’t even have to comment on the girls’ skins.
They will hit the game on February 13, along with other improvements. We expect they will be priced as the previous swimsuit skins, ie, 750 Caliber. We’ll know for sure in a couple of days.
