Solo Leveling was the Anime of the Year for 2025. The series saw a lot of success, but despite that, at the moment, it doesn’t seem like there’s a Solo Leveling Season 3 in the works. Since no big announcement has been made yet, the series might not have a new release lined up for 2026. That said, at the very least, fans have other anime to look forward to, and 2026 seems to be quite packed with some incredible series already. Fans who love manhwa turned into anime, like Solo Leveling, have another big release based on a popular Manhwa, called The Beginning After the End, to look forward to.
The Beginning After the End Season 1 was a catastrophe, but it still has many fans, and some are praying that The Beginning After the End Season 2 will be able to redeem itself after the horrible debut season that the studio delivered. The story had potential to be better than Solo Leveling, but the anime adaptation has completely ruined that. If done correctly, however, TBATE might even replace Solo Leveling as the next big Manhwa-based anime.
The Beginning After the End Season 2 Is Coming Soon
- TBATE Season 2 Will Air In April 2026
- A Series That Could Rival Even Solo Leveling
Anime fans had been anticipating big news for The Beginning After the End for quite a while now, and finally, the major announcement came. Recently, it was officially confirmed that The Beginning After the End Season 2 is coming, and very soon. The Beginning After the End Season 2 has been confirmed for an April 2026 release, and it is already one of the most anticipated anime of next year, despite the horrible first season.
The Beginning After the End is a series based on a Korean web comic, or manhwa, just like Solo Leveling. The series has a dedicated fan base, and many believe this series could even replace Solo Leveling. After all, Solo Leveling Season 3 has yet to even be confirmed, something that has many fans worried about the future of the series. With no new Solo Leveling content, a new series could take its spot and build hype next year.
The Beginning After the End Season 2 Has Fans Worried
Season 1 Had Terrible Animation Despite An Interesting Story
While some fans were happy to see The Beginning After the End Season 2 getting confirmed for an April 2026 release, others are worried for very valid reasons. The Beginning After the End season 1 was a disaster in terms of production, and was 2025’s lowest-rated anime. The animation was a big letdown, and some would say it was the most disappointing release of 2025.
The fact that The Beginning After the End is coming so early in 2026 isn’t a good sign in that regard. The Beginning After the End staff hasn’t received enough time to work on it, and while the trailer looks promising, the results could disappoint many fans again, just like with the first season. It’s best to keep expectations low.
Solo Leveling has two seasons out right now, one with 12 episodes, and the other with 13, for a combined episode count of 25 episodes available to watch right now. The series can be streamed on Crunchyroll for fans to enjoy while awaiting any more news concerning the third season. For fans who can’t wait for Season 3 to come out, checking out the Manhwa might be a great option.
