This article contains spoilers from Solo Leveling Season 2. It also speaks specifically of the characters seen in Solo Leveling Season 2, and not the Manhwa.
Solo Leveling fans enjoyed Season 2 of the series to the absolute fullest, as it gave them Jinwoo’s next evolution in the face of powerful enemies. Not only did fans see Jinwoo gain even higher strength, but at the same time, he also gained new abilities, such as the power to raise shadows. By the end of Solo Leveling Season 2, Jinwoo seemed almost unbeatable.
This is largely because he fought against and even defeated the Ant King, and all that without too much trouble. Jinwoo finally reached Level 100, which shows that he reached a very high power level. Despite that, however, Jinwoo is actually below one character that the author has already introduced.
Sung Jinwoo Has Just Reached Level 100
- Jinwoo Beat The Ant King
- His Powers Are Immense
It goes without saying that the best part of Solo Leveling Season 2 was the Jeju Island arc, where the raid against the Ants was shown to the fans. While S Rank Hunters were being completely overwhelmed one after the other, Jinwoo was able to stand his ground.
Every time I get stronger, I feel I lose a part of myself. — Sung Jinwoo
In fact, he even faced off against the Ant King, and after gaining the power of mutilation, he absolutely destroyed him in combat. Jinwoo reached level 100 and finally hit the elite level. In fact, as fans saw, he was seen as a Hero all over the world at that point, with offers from the US flowing in as well. While Jinwoo was strong, it would be a stretch to say that at Level 100, Jinwoo is the strongest. It is quite clear that despite his immense power, Jinwoo is actually far from the strongest character in Solo Leveling right now, at the end of Season 2. In fact, his father, Sung Il Hwan, is far stronger at the moment.
Don’t ever think of going near my family. — Sung Il Hwan
Sung Il Hwan Is Stronger Than Jinwoo Right Now
Jinwoo’s Dad Is Stronger Than National Level Hunters
At this point in time, fans haven’t seen the full strength of Sung Il Hwan, but the small glimpse that fans saw was enough to tell the watchers that he’s actually above most S Rank Hunters. He is easily able to defeat Dongsu and absolutely batter in, which shows extremely high-level power. In fact, he should be stronger than all the National Level Hunters as well, given his reputation. Right now, Jinwoo isn’t on his level and if there were to be a battle, hypothetically, Jinwoo would lose.
Jinwoo Will Surpass His Father
Of course, just because Level 100 Jinwoo can’t beat Sung Il Hwan, it doesn’t mean that he’ll always be weaker. The fact is that Jinwoo will eventually go on to be the strongest character in the series, and he’ll also leave his father behind in the dust. But, at the moment, Jinwoo is far from his level.
Solo Leveling has two seasons out right now, one with 12 episodes, and the other with 13, for a combined episode count of 25 episodes available to watch right now. The series can be streamed on Crunchyroll for fans to enjoy while awaiting any more news concerning the third season. For fans who can’t wait for season 3 to come out, checking out the Manhwa might be a great option.
