How To Catch Glacierfish In Stardew Valley

Like other legendary fish, the Glacierfish can only be caught once per safe file or once per player in multiplayer in Stardew Valley, but this does not mean that you need to fish in every body of water, hoping to find the right one. Instead, you need to meet these requirements to catch the Glacierfish in Stardew Valley:

• You must have reached Fishing skill level 6 or higher. Fishing Buffs can be used for this.
• You should fish during the winter season.
• Lastly, you must catch the Glacierfish at a specific location in Stardew Valley.

The last condition is the most important, since you will not be able to catch Glacierfish anywhere else. You should head to the southwest of Cindersap Forest. There, you will find a small island. Go down to the southernmost part of the island and cast your fishing rod down.

What To Do With Glacierfish In Stardew Valley

The Glacierfish is more of a challenge than a valuable thing. Despite its rarity, it is not needed to craft special items. Moreover, not a single villager likes this fish as a gift. Therefore, the only thing you can do with it is sell it for Gold, cook simple fish dishes, or place it in a Fish Pond.

With the first option, players can earn up to 3,000 Gold for it. If players would rather not part with this rare specimen, they can also keep it as a souvenir or a prize for completing the fishing challenge. In a pond, your Glacierfish can produce up to 4 Roe.
