The latest State of Play was chock full of content. But what got everyone’s attention was the upcoming Stellar Blade crossover with Goddess of Victory – Nikke. It was also followed by a release window for the crossover as well as the long-awaited PC port.
In the February 12 State of Play, we saw announcements for a bunch of new games, like the remaster for Days Gone, Borderlands 4, or a new Shinobi game from SEGA. We expected to see the release date for the Stellar Blade PC port, but we got more than that.
Stellar Blade x Goddess of Victory – Nikke Crossover
The first crossover Stellar Balde has was with Nier: Automata, and it was quite a hit. It added a bunch of Nier-inspired outfits (the ones that make you look like 2B or A2 were the most popular, unsurprisingly) and other cosmetics. And now, a second crossover is announced.
Stellar Blade will team up with Shift Up’s most popular gacha game: Goddess of Victory – Nikke. It is also a game featuring cute girls fighting in a war, so this collab was to be expected. We’ll get a Nikke-inspired boss battle, collectible dolls, stickers, and new outfits. As we saw in the trailer, we’ll get skins for Eve that look like Rafi, Alice, Scarlet, and more.
Release Window
When the collab was announced, we also got some info on when can we expect to see it, along with the PC port’s release window. According to official sources, “both the PC version of Stellar Blade and the Goddess of Victory: Nikke DLC (available on PS5 and PC) launch in June.” It is safe to assume that the collab will be available for both PS and PC players, but we’re still waiting for Sony to confirm that. We’ll get the exact date as June approaches.
