Geoff Keighley has revealed the dates for next year’s Summer Game Fest event, as well as a change of venue.
The event will take place in the first weekend of June, beginning with the Live Kickoff showcase on 5th June.
This showcase will take place in-person at the Dolby Theatre in LA, which has been used for multiple gaming events in the past. The event will also be streamed online, for those not able to make it.
Of course, it’s too far in advance to say what will be shown at the event, but expect the latest game announcements across PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PC, and Switch 2.
Before that, there’s The Game Awards, which this year will take place on 11th December at the Peacock Theatre in Los Angeles.
Nominees are yet to be announced, but will be revealed in mid-November. Judging by popular sentiment, the likes of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, Hades 2, Hollow Knight: Silksong, and Death Stranding 2 appear to be frontrunners for the biggest awards.
