Destiny 2 is adding Synanceia, a new Eager Edge sword in Solar flavor. This limited-time weapon comes with a couple of unique rolls for utility and even damage, but the fact that it’s a Wave-Frame and rolls Eager Edge makes it unique enough.

While it’s true that chasing tier three armaments and above can be tough, this new sword benefits even more from having extra perks. This allows you to get utility and damage perks on the same copy of the weapon, saving vault space.

Eager Edge is among our best options for Synanceia, but it’s not the only pick. Here are our PvE god rolls for Synanceia in Destiny 2.

  • Blade: Jagged Edge or Honed Edge
  • Guard: Swordmaster’s Guard
  • First perk: Relentless Strikes, Attrition Orbs, or Sharp Harvest
  • Second perk: Elemental Honing or Eager Edge
    • Honorable mentions: Chain Reaction, Surrounded

The third column for Synanceia shows a couple of desirable options right off the bat. Relentless Strikes is great for generating ammo upon hits with no kill trigger required, which helps prolong those extra boss phases if you’re using it to focus on sturdier combatants. Attrition Orbs works as a supporting perk in those scenarios, helping you keep Surge or Font mods topped up during damage phases.

Sharp Harvest works for some extra utility, like Relentless Strikes for your Special. Wellspring and Proximity Power generate ability energy, so they’re not bad options if you need them for your builds.

In the fourth column, Eager Edge is also particularly interesting for scenarios where you’d like more movement, and the most obvious use case is to zoom past enemies in your Solo Ops farming. The downside of this perk in Synanceia is, it’s fighting against other damage-based perks.

If you’re planning to use a copy of this weapon specifically for damage, aim for Elemental Honing, which takes some setup but is more universal than Surrounded (though the latter is useful in ultra-specific scenarios with plenty of adds).

If you’re looking for a damage bump, Assassin’s Blade also works in the third column, though this is more suited to taking down chaff enemies because it triggers on a kill. You can pair it with Chain Reaction.

The parts don’t matter as much, though you should aim for Jagged Edge or Honed Edge to get more damage, plus Swordmaster’s Guard for a smaller delay between heavy attacks.
