The First Descendant 1.2.19 Hotfix Is Here With One QoL Fix Standing Out From the Rest

We only recently had an update, and now another one is here. The 1.2.19 Hotfix just went live in The First Descendant, fixing many bugs, with one change standing out from the rest.

We just got two updates in one week. On May 22, we got the huge 1.2.18 Update (which added the famous Dynamic Motion to the game, among other improvements), and now, a full week later, Nexon released another hotfix. This one fixes some oversights from the previous one and deals with a couple of bug fixes, so let’s see what that is all about.

The First Descendant 1.2.19 Hotfix

On May 29, a new hotfix was released for TFD. It adds the ability to select Spoils Boxes as Target Rewards, some Party finder improvements, and a lot of bug fixes. Nexon has been pretty vigilant when it comes to dealing with bugs, and while the whole update is pretty good, one QoL fix stands out from the rest and is welcomed by all.

The First Descendant Players Delighted at the “Set Entry Location” Fix Included in the 1.2.19 Hotfix

While this update is not particularly huge, it does have some significant changes. Nexon already previewed the change to Target Rewards and Spoils Boxes, so it’s no surprise. Some dedicated players have already tested it out and concluded that each run gives you 3% on the Target Rewards track, meaning that about 34 runs will guarantee a Spoils Box.

But the most welcome change is that from now on, the game will save the Entry Location you have set, ie, it won’t revert to default when you exit the game. That means you can set it to spawn next to Anais every time you enter the game. While far from a radical change in the game, it will make checking up on your research so much easier. That’s what the majority of players are doing the moment they log in, so this will save you some time.

We have no word on the next update, but Nexon did announce that we’ll have a devlive in June. In case you missed it, they have a “Ask the Devs” event going on right now, where you can submit your questions with a chance to have them answered during the live broadcast.
