The First Descendant Anniversary Live Has Been Announced for July 1

The first birthday is getting closer, and Nexon announced The First Descendant Anniversary Live for July 1.

The First Descendant was released back in July 2024 and proved pretty popular, with hundreds of thousands of players trying out Nexon’s newest game. Naturally, the numbers dwindled over time, with the general opinion of the game having its ups and downs. According to the players, it all boils down to the lack of real content, with the focus being more on selling skins than on the game itself. But now, Season 3 is crawling ever closer, and it promises to radically improve the game, and the first anniversary live will reveal more info about it.

Descendant Fest 2025 – Nexon Announced The First Descendant Anniversary Live

It was revealed that Nexon will be holding some anniversary events in TFD, which will add a swimming pool and a new batch of swimsuit skins to the game, among other things. And to tell us more about it, and the upcoming Season, they announced a special Anniversary Live event.

“Celebrate The First Descendant’s 1st Anniversary with us at Descendant Fest 2025, kicking off July 1 at 7PM PT. We’ve prepared exciting Breakthrough reveals and a first look at what’s coming next, all for our amazing Descendants. Special anniversary events are also on the way, with rewards you won’t want to miss, so be sure to tune in!”

They finish by reminding us to pre-register for the Season 3 Breakthrough update, scheduled for August 7, via this link. Pre-registering will net you some very valuable rewards, with the ultimate reward, if they reach one million pre-registrations in total, being an Ultimate Descendant for everyone. Knowing that we’re at about 8000 active players in total, this is quite an optimistic goal for Nexon.

In any case, the first anniversary livestream will definitely be something to check out, and we’re looking forward to July 1!
