The First Descendant Community Pays Tribute to Lost Player by Donning New Crescent Skins Together

Losing a close friend is never easy, and unfortunately, one TFD player is going through that exact situation. But, in a heartfelt display of solidarity, The First Descendant community pays tribute to the lost player by wearing the new Crescent Skins.

While waiting for the Summer Game Fest and the supposed big reveals, the new Crescent skins have been the talk of the town these last couple of days. They started off as a teaser, got everyone excited, and were then added to the in-game shop only yesterday. Naturally, you can see everyone running around in these punk-rock outfits, with fans “arguing” who wore it better. However, some parts of the community are getting and wearing these skins to honor a player who passed away.

Crescent Skins Became A Heartfelt Tribute to a Lost The First Descendant Player

Even though the TFD community can be a pretty volatile one, there are still some pretty decent people out there. The community recently came together in a moving display of solidarity and friendship, honoring a fellow player who sadly passed away earlier this year. Sparked by a heartfelt Reddit post titled “A Tribute to a Fallen Descendant and Friend,” in which the OP talks about how they recently lost a good friend and a fellow TFD player named Mal. It quickly resonated across the player base.

As it turns out, besides being an excellent guy and a friend, Mal was also a huge metalhead. And we just got these rocking Crescent skins, so the OP thought it was more than fitting. “So when I saw these new skins and emotes it was the perfect opportunity and allowed me to pay tribute to him in the best way it possible. I know Nexon didn’t do it because of this and it’s pure coincidence, but I’d still like to share my tribute to my good friend Mal and the metal head of my community, The Vanguard“.

In a heartwarming turn of events, the community got together and joined the OP in honoring his friend. You can see comment like “Been debating about buying this skin. I’ll deff buy it as a tribute to your wonderful friend MAL. RIP a true and loved Descendant” by  Eastern_Presence_984, “…Your friend would’ve loved the outfit for sure.” by Pyschic_Psycho, and “…From now on in my headcanon, these are Mals skins. I’ll be making a tribute purchase as soon as I get off work!“ by BirthdayImpossible99.

Even though the TFD community is not famous for its solidarity, in times like these, they really do show their true colors. In the end, it’s moments like these that remind us that, beyond the grind, the skins, or the builds, it’s the friendships and shared memories that make a game like TFD truly special. We hope this reaches as many players as possible, so we can all join in honouring the lost Descendant.
