Another hotfix is here, this time dealing with minor issues, adding a couple of improvements, and slightly tweaking some existing features. The next update will be a bigger one, but even so, let’s see the details of The First Descendant Hotfix 1.2.5. Unfortunately, some players are a bit disappointed by it.

The latest hotfix adds the long-awaited Launcher Modules, increases the number of Consumables that you can carry, and doubles the amount of Void Abyss Metal Fragments that you can obtain in 400% Infiltrations. However, it looks like it is a lot less than the fans expected.

“Not Enough”
The most notable difference is the increase in Void Abyss Metal Fragments drops. But, it looks like the fans wanted much more, claiming that the change from 20 to 40 is nowhere near enough, since you need 2000 for one upgrade. “For the core materials in 400% I have to run it about 50 times…that just feels like work” said SeiteAmeise677, and “Any chance you can lower the core making requirement from 2,000 to maybe 1,000 or even 1,500. It gonna be very difficult to gave to build 5 of them if each one takes about 100 (400%) mission just to build 1” asked drulipabs.
On the other hand, others remind us that this is a grinding game. It is not the point to acquire everything so easily. “If people just unlock everything in 1 week, there will be no one left playing the game in a month.” said OldNickx.
Either way, the devs revealed that the next update will be postponed, from January 30 to February 6, which will add more stages to Void Erosion missions, a Leaderboard, and more.
