“The Future!” We Know What’s Coming as the Devs Have Already Revealed the Roadmap for inZOI

InZOI was just released, but the devs revealed the roadmap for it some days ago. Let’s see what’s in store for this new life sim.

Developed by inZOI Studio and published by Krafton, inZOI is a new life simulator game where you manage a community of virtual people. It looks like The Sims, but with the focus being on the people rather than on building cool houses (not to say that inZOI does not have that aspect as well). The game started off pretty well, with 50-60k players on the first day. Bear in mind that the game is in Early Access, and a lot of gamers would rather wait for the full release, but if you have some friends interested in joining, Krafton has some rewards in store. In any case, the game is barely a day old, and the players are interested in what the future holds for inZOI. Luckily, the devs have already revealed the roadmap for the upcoming months.

inZOI Roadmap

Back on March 19, the folks from inZOI held an Online Showcase, where they talked about the game, their goals, and plans for the future. Concerning the latter, they revealed a roadmap of what to expect in the coming months. It is as follows:

May

  • Mod Kit (Maya, Blender)
  • Changes to Weight, Muscle Adjustment
  • In-Game Cheat Codes
  • Relationship Improvements
  • Adoption System
  • Build Mode Improvements & New Furniture
  • Create a Zoi Improvements
  • Outfit Updates

August

  • Ghost Play
  • Swimming & Pools
  • More Resources for Edit City
  • AI Build Mode
  • Freelancer Jobs
  • Improvements to Text Messages & Skills
  • Parenting Improvements

October

  • Family Tree
  • Hotkey Customization
  • Build Mode – Adjust Object Size
  • New Furniture
  • Moving Homes UX Improvements
  • Create a Zoi Improvements
  • Mod Updates

December

  • Memory System
  • Move Cities
  • Interaction Responses Based on Traits
  • Build Mode Improvements & New Furniture
  • Create a Zoi Improvements
  • Mod Updates
  • New Outfits
  • Indoor Temperature

They said that the game will be available for consoles at some point, but we see no mention of that on the roadmap. Perhaps the roadmap is strictly for in-game features, not the technical ones.

When devs reveal a roadmap, it is usually only for a couple of months, so it is a welcome surprise to see inZOI Studios and Krafton sharing their plans all the way until the end of the year. Things are looking good!
