“The Haunted Torsodivers Rule the Battlefield” Helldivers 2 Community Is Perplexed That This Bug Hasn’t Been Fixed Yet

Let’s be honest, if you played the game recently, you must have had at least one of your teammates be just a floating torso. We’ve been quite active, and it feels like there’s at least one torso just doing its thing in every other game. Although it’s funny to see, the Helldivers 2 players want to know why the devs haven’t solved the problem of Torsodivers yet.

Who Are the Torsodivers?

Well, if you still haven’t encountered them, let us present to you the magical floating torsos. You see, some players have played with a teammate who is only a torso with a cape. Headless and legless.

Now, you might have seen the Headless divers who have been in the game for a while. Even though some players have also encountered the Torsodivers before, the chances to stumble upon one skyrocketed a couple of weeks ago as a bug that sneaked in a patch.

One player, Xemogorgon777, recorded their teammate seemingly aimlessly floating around. Well, we’re sure the Torsodiver was just doing their thing and contributing, but it’s hard to guess one’s intention just based on their floating torso.

Helldivers 2 Players Would Prefer to See Their Teammates Whole

Now, Torsodivers were funny at first, but the Helldivers 2 players seem to be losing patience when it comes to this issue. Even though it isn’t necessarily hurting anyone, it just gets annoying after a while.

One player noted: “The last 2 weeks, I constantly see at least ONE Helldiver running around as a Torso with his flapping cape. Funny enough, they also disappear from the map or I see their coordinates wrong on it”.

Many players pointed out that there have been plenty of newly introduced problems in the game. A player stated: “…the torso divers, the performance, the crashes, autocannon, a lot of stuff is broken right now. As a Senior Software Engineer, this is kinda crazy for me”.

Another player added: “and the weird obsession with making things ‘how they should be’ or simulating things nobody needs. We can’t change how my armor looks, but for months I can be a running torso”.

What do you think? Should the devs prioritize getting the game in a great condition or adding new content? Hopefully both, but developing a game is way too complex for anyone to expect that. While we wait, you’ll find us on Achird III. Come squish some bugs with us. For Liberty and Super Earth.
