Helldivers were victorious as they managed to finally complete the previous MO on the bug front. Well, something entirely new awaits them this week! Helldivers 2 players will have to face the freshly produced Incineration Corps for the new Major Order. Or, they’ll have to deliver a tall order of bugs.
J.O.E.L Wants to Divide the Helldivers With a Major Order, Again
The latest MO arrived on March 18. As always, it was accompanied by a lengthy briefing explaining what exactly was going on. Sadly, we have to notice that the players’ predictions didn’t hit the target this time, but who knows, there’s always the next MO.
As for the current one, well it’s entirely up to the players. On one hand, the briefing explains that the Automatons landed on several planets in a coordinated attack. The newly introduced Incineration Corps are leading the attacks. These units are, obviously, equipped with incendiary weapons.
These barbaric attacks will only spread if the Helldivers don’t interfere and stop them The briefing stated: “Without the direct intervention of the Helldivers, countless colonies and homesteads will be lost, and the Automatons will steal significant swaths of territory”.
On the other hand, the Helldivers could continue with the success of the previous Major Order and continue collecting the E-710 needed for the Penrose Energy Siphon. According to the briefing: “Every lost day could make the difference between the preservation or destruction of another planet”.

So, the Helldivers 2 players have to choose between stopping the Incineration Corps or killing some more bugs for the current Major Order. It’s a tough choice! Both options are quite demanding, so the players will have to make a decision. The first option includes defending 8 planets from Automaton attacks, and the second one consists of killing 1,25 billion bugs. At the time of writing this article, the players are 1% done with the second option, and they have five days and three hours left.

Helldivers Will Have to Choose Bugs Over the Incineration Corps
As sad as it sounds, it’s, unfortunately, necessary. Helldivers agree they don’t really have a choice for this MO. Eight defenses on the bot front are hard enough on their own, but give the bugdivers an option to fight on the bug front, and the majority of the player base will leave the botdivers to fend for themselves. Also, after Angel’s Venture and Moradesh, we have to get serious about stopping the Meridian Singularity.
One player, Fickle_Diamond_1941, noted: “The illusion of choice. Either Arrowhead is expecting to get a ton of players after the update or they just are terrible at math. The bot order is destined to fail if they make the defenses anything higher than level 10s, and they are doing 20s. I’m sick of these impossible choice major orders that turn the community on itself”.
Now, sure, the recent update and the hype around the announced Warbond will certainly bring back some more players, but we still think that the bug option will prevail. Unfortunately, the trend of unrealistic MOs continues, and it seems that the community is slowly getting tired of it.
Still, we have to try and contribute. Even though we are botdivers through and through, we’ll be helping out on the bug front this time. Will you join us there? For Liberty and Super Earth.
