“The Second Summer in Albion” Nexon Announced More Swimsuit Skins For Their Upcoming Anniversary of The First Descendant

Another devlive came and went, and the devs left us with something to look forward to. The first anniversary of The First Descendant is getting closer, and the devs announced even more swimsuit skins.

A major devlive just ended, where the devs talked about the current state of the game, the upcoming updates, Season 3, and more. And one of the major points was the upcoming first anniversary of TFD. For the record, The First Descendant released on July 2, 2024, and now, on July 3, 2025, they are preparing some cool events to celebrate the anniversary. And one of those is the arrival of a new batch of swimsuit skins.

During the devlive, it was revealed that in-game summer events will begin on June 19. Called “Burning Summer”, these will offer rewards for attendance and for completing some tasks in the game. Additionally, that is when the dreaded Furry Companion skin will be added to the game.

But on the day of the anniversary, another batch of events and changes will go live. Apart from the in-game events, Albion will get its own pool, called Albion Infinity Pool. It will be a special area with its own special interactions, like swimming, splashing, etc. And, as a follow-up, another batch of swimsuits will be added. We all know that those are the most popular types of skins, so it is no surprise that Nexon decided to do a third run. 

As we can see from the image, every female Descendant will get her own new swimsuit. Additionally, there is Yujin, wearing a lifeguard suit, implying that once again, the guys will get a token common skin. Naturally, the ladies all look awesome, but the guys got the short end of the stick. However, the devs did say that the image is a “work in progress”, so there is still hope for the guys!

In any case, we are certain these will be as popular as the other swimsuit skins we had before, and rack up some revenue for Nexon. And it will occupy the players’ attention a bit until the August update comes along.
