Undead Realm: Ego is a full-motion live-action horror game and players get to play as Ren Xing, the main character. You wake up in a strange school and meet other survivors while trying to escape. You choose where to go, and look for clues to get to the bottom of what happened. Depending on the choices you make, the story can end in any number of ways that you can replay the lines of the story.

The developer of Undead Realm: Ego has worked hard to create a unique horror experience after their earlier games, Try and Love and Back. It was a difficult filming process, done at an abandoned school in the middle of nowhere with no water and no electricity. The conditions were so tough, and yet the actors put in their best work, often shooting through freezing nights in difficult locations. This is a passion project to the developer and they are thankful for the player support.

The unit features a bunch of colorful characters, each with their own eccentricities. A calm, supportive teacher who gives hope: Zhou Yawen Yang Tiantian is a caring and thoughtful worker, while Lin Ziqi, a freelance photographer, is independent and observant. Sun Xiaoya adds cheer and humor to tense situations, and Liu Mengqi, a college student, shows quiet determination. Zhang Yuqing is reserved but reveals strength in tough times.

The developer, who has little to no money, says that they will continue to improve on it. They want to tell better stories and film them better moving forward, including a Back sequel. The Players also share feedback, helping the team continue to develop and learn with every game. Undead Realm: Ego marks a dedication and love that is no stranger to overcoming challenges.
