Another Major Order, another big decision! As you know, the players previously had to choose between the feeble young adults and the Gas Mines. They chose both, and even though J.O.E.L wasn’t too happy about it, Helldivers managed to save both the young adults and the Gas Mines. Now, a new dilemma took the spotlight. The latest Major Order makes the Helldivers 2 community choose if they’ll save the next planet in the path of the Meridian Singularity, or stop the bots from invading a strategically important planet.
The New Major Order Is Another Trolley Problem
The new Major Order arrived on March 2. As always, it came with an accompanying briefing which offered further insight into what was going on. This week, Helldivers will have their hands full on both the Squid and the bot front. So, what’s going on?
As you know, the Meridian Singularity destroyed Angel’s Venture, and it’s moving toward Super Earth. The next planet in its path is Moradesh. The only way to save this planet is for the players to unite and fend off as many Squid attacks so the Squids wouldn’t get enough Dark Fluid to progress.
Also, Moradesh is quite an important planet for Dark Fluid research. The briefing states: “Trace amounts of Dark Fluid have recently been discovered in the Facility’s ventilation systems. Its study could lead to new breakthroughs in our understanding of the Illuminate’s current schemes”.
However, those pesky bots took the opportunity to launch an attack on Claorell. They wish to take control over the Deep Mantle Forge Complex. If they manage to do so, the entire Galaxy could be in trouble.

So, once again, Helldivers were given an unfair task of choosing which cause was more important. As of the time of writing this article, they defended against two Squid attacks, and they are still holding Claorell, even though it’s under attack. The Helldivers have three days and five hours left.

Which Planet Will the Helldivers 2 Players Pick?
As scary as bots having control over the Deep Mantle Forge Complex sounds, it would be horrifying to see Helldivers 2 players let another planet blow up by ignoring a doable Major Order. For the majority of players, the choice is clear – save Moradesh.
Marcellix102 noted: “Delay the Singularity because Dark Fluid has been found in trace amounts at the dark Fluid Facility on Moradesh. So, we can use the research to stop it. Also, we can retake the Forge after the MO ends to not let the bots make more units. Sure, they can make a few new units while they have the forge, but they won’t have it for long, and, thus, they can’t make many of them”.
Some Helldivers also explained that not saving Moradesh would deprave the community of some more Squid lore. On the other hand, not saving the Forge could lead to some new Automaton units.
So, the choice is actually quite clear. Helldivers should prioritize fending off Squid attacks. It will be a long week, but let’s try our best. We’ll be diving on Parsh for the time being, will you join us? For Liberty and Super Earth.
