Hehe. Hohoho. Ollie couldn’t dream of such devious placement. This is my column now. Videogames? Yes, several. Here’s what we’re playing this weekend.

I have discovered an incredible activity called “Foot Ball”. You can enjoy it online via the magic of a video game called Rematch, and that’s probably what I’ll be doing this weekend.
Edwin
This weekend I might play through Soma again, because it’s awfully bright and summery outside and I feel the call of the hadal zone. I also keep meaning to get around to playing Zephon.

Immortality, the new digital expansion for Dune Imperium, just came out, so I shall spend my Sunday puzzling out small green cubes and new kinds of card.

I always forget how Hades II isn’t technically finished, making its big updates (like this week’s) all the more enticing. Dunno why it’s called The Unseen Update, though. It’s clearly right there.

This weekend I shall be playing a survival game about not burning to death under the gripping heat that is currently sweeping its way through London. I shall use all of my knowledge obtained in Dune Awakening to collect 50 small blades of grass, a bag of dog poo, a letter from EE about how they have once again raised the prices of my phone contract, and a very long stick. I shall fashion all of these implements into a makeshift tent to keep the boss known as The British Summer from making me melt. When I inevitably fail, I will lose all of my items and my clothes and will need to run a hundred miles across a PvP zone back to my base, avoiding a million gooners trying to gank me all the while. Such is life.

I’ve been opening my MindsEye this week. No one asked me to, it’s something I wanted to try, because I have an affinity for things that are quite broken and also seem to be drowning in about 15 million partly-realised ideas. I don’t know why. It’s been sort of loveably meh so far. I might finish it this weekend, I might not. The world will keep turning all the same. Minds will keep on eyeing. Eyes will keep on minding.

Cyber Knights: Flashpoint for me. It’s brilliant so far. The soundtrack helps a lot in this department, but it’s so incredibly tense for a turn based game. That said, the hacking tutorial gave me a full on anxiety attack I still haven’t quite recovered from yet.
Ollie
has been polymorphed into a fawn and trapped inside today’s header image.
But you, reader dear, what are you playing this weekend?…
