What are we all playing this weekend?

There’s a fox in the back garden outside my window right this second, dragging its bum along the grass like Santa’s Little Helper. Thankfully I love foxes, and care little for the garden. None of this has anything to do with games, of course. I just thought you’d like to know.

Now then: what are we all playing this weekend? We’ll start, then you can follow in the comments!

Jeremy
I will be playing nothing this weekend, for finishing our Wuchang: Fallen Feathers boss guide has broken me. Instead, I will maybe go outside or read a comic book or something. You know, healthy activities instead of trying to survive a nonstop series of hits from an asshole who insists on attacking me while I’m healing (man oh man does this game need that healing animation sped up; the patch on the 11th is gonna make a world of difference for new players).

Nic
Nic’s probably off flaunting his excellent beard somewhere, as usual.

James
I’m currently working through 1000 Deaths, which has a lot more going on behind its ‘weird platformer’ marketing. It’s still a weird platformer, to be sure, but I’m appreciating how it’s ultimately centered around directing the lifepaths of its cast, rather than precision jumping skills.

Edwin
I’m going to be busy this weekend and away all next week working on extra-curricular stuff, so no videogames for me until Friday, when I plan to fall facefirst into a game that consists of a single, giant escort mission.

Ollie
During my holiday I ended up playing a fair bit of Satisfactory with my brother and flatmate. The banter reaches new heights as we survey each other’s factories and verbally tear them to pieces. Aside from that, I’m fascinated by the trailer for CleanFall, so I’m gonna jump on that this weekend and see if I can survive long enough in its crazy world to get one of those big laser-shooting monstrosity engines up and running.

Mark
A wise man once said the following: “All this from a slice of gabagool?” Yes. We may not have managed to secure code for Mafia: The Old Country ahead of release, but you best believe I’ve got it now and am digging into mob life in early 1900s Italy. Per ora, va bene. Chissà cosa penserò dopo aver giocato per più di tre ore.

And you, reader dear, what are you playing this weekend?…
