What are we all playing this weekend?

The highlight of this week’s produce at RPS was very definitely this excellent and important feature from Edwin and Nic. Go read it if you haven’t already; then you’re allowed to let us all know what your gaming plans are over the next couple days.

Here’s what we’re all clicking on this weekend!

Edwin
This weekend I’ll be playing Sonic the Hedgehog again, because reasons, but mostly I’d like to read some books: N.K. Jemisin’s The Fifth Season and Jonathan Crary’s 24/7: Late Capitalism and the Ends of Sleep.

James
I shall try to get further into Hollow Knight than in previous attempts, in preparation for the Silksongening. I feel like I’m just on the cusp of fully, truly ‘getting it’ – I just need a little more boss fight success and a little less bumbling around in corridors I’ve already explored.

Jeremy
I’m happy to report that I dig the The Rogue Prince of Persia and it has successfully held my attention for more than five hours, which is my max for a lot of roguelikes! So I’ll be playing more of that this weekend, and hopefully managing to get the true ending before Silksong comes out next week and dominates all of my 2D side scroller time.

Mark
The dogs are thoroughly out in that Cyberpunk playthrough you’re probably sick of hearing about by now. Idris is Elbaing, Kurt is Hansening, and I’ve done enough car stealing jobs to render every ride in the game available for purchase, the latter being a thing I never got around to in my first Phantom Libbing. Outside of that, I became aware that Fit For A King exists the other day, and its brand of Tudor royalty roleplay looks well up my alley.

Nic
Nic is spending some quality time with his beautiful cat. At least, that’s what I’d be doing right now if I were him.

Ollie
I’ve been hearing rumblings that Overwatch 2 has slowly become more bearable again, so the boys and I will likely check it out this weekend, learn what the eight or so new heroes (since we last played) actually do, and see what’s going on with this Stadium malarkey.
