A player, BobboTomato, has experienced something truly strange. They entered the Store in the game, and for some unknown reason, all the text was replaced with the words “Power of Anger”. That’s quite… unusual.
The OP noted: “All the text in my shop was replaced with “THE POWER OF ANGER” has this happened to anyone else?”. Several players confirmed that this had in fact happened to them as well. However, no one knew exactly why this kept happening.

Of course, the first thing that the players suggested was that the OP’s game was haunted. Some suggested that the OP “angered the Machine”. WretchedDumpster noted: “No, I think your computer has an analog horror demon in it”. Stranger things have happened, but we doubt that this was the work of a demon.
The most popular conspiracy theory was that this bug was somehow related to the TikTok ban. Ne_Woke_Ram stated: “Tiktok ban kicked in, which also got Marvel Snap banned. I would not be surprised if weird stuff like this starts happening with Rivals. Fingers crossed that it’s just a coincidence”. Now, the reason why Marvel Snap is down is that it’s published by Nuverse, a subsidiary of TikTok owner ByteDance. However, Marvel Rivals is published by NetEase Games, so there shouldn’t be any problems.
Many players believe that this bug might be in relation to some upcoming content. Lady-Lovelight suggested: “I’m going to hazard a guess and say we’re going to be getting a Red Hulk skin for the new Captain America movie. It’ll be called “The Power of Anger” or something. For whatever reason, your game freaked out and plastered it everywhere”. Honestly, this sounds like the most plausible solution to us.
