The Division Resurgence is the next entry in the MMO-adjacent third-person shooter that, so far, has seen players visit both New York City and Washington D.C. in the first two games. Resurgence takes players back to NYC, but this time, it’s a free-to-play mobile exclusive, coming to both iOS and Android.
The gameplay follows the same format though, with both PvE and PvP modes available, and plenty of loot to find. Here’s when The Division Resurgence releases in your time zone and details on what to expect.
The Division Resurgence release time in your time zone
There are two separate release times for The Division Resurgence. Firstly, it releases in Asia-Pacific regions at 7 a.m. UTC on Tuesday, March 31. Here’s how that converts to some popular time zones in that region:
- 12:30 p.m. IST for India
- 3 p.m. CST for China
- 4 p.m. JST for Japan
- 4 p.m. KST for South Korea
- 6 p.m. AEDT for the east coast of Australia
However, for the rest of the world, The Division Resurgence releases four hours later, at 11 a.m. UTC. Here’s how that looks across the rest of the world:
- 4 a.m. PDT for the west coast of North America
- 7 a.m. EDT for the east coast of North America
- 8 a.m. BRT for Brazil
- 12 p.m. BST for the United Kingdom

You can find The Division Resurgence on both the App Store and the Google Play Store, and while it cannot be preloaded, you can “get” it now, so it will automatically download as soon as the game goes live.
What to expect in The Division Resurgence
According to Ubisoft, The Division Resurgence is a “AAA experience featuring a new storyline set in the massive urban open-world of New York City.” This includes the infamous Dark Zone, where you can engage in PvP and find the highest quality loot. The game will also offer a “unique perspective of the events around The Division 1 and 2” with a new PvE campaign.
