World of Warcraft has officially revealed the Topsy Turvy Joker’s Mask as a new Twitch Drop for the release of Patch 11.2.7, The Warning. From December 2 until December 30, players who watch four hours of any World of Warcraft streamer on Twitch can add this avian mask to their transmog collections.
Patch 11.2.7 arrives in World of Warcraft on December 2. This update is the final one of The War Within, and promises a bunch of exciting content. A prologue to the Midnight expansion, a new Lorewalking campaign, the Pandaren Heritage Armor questline, early access to Housing, and the return of World of Warcraft’s Turbulent Timeways event featuring Shadowlands Timewalking are just some of the major features of this patch.

How to Get World of Warcraft Patch 11.2.7 Twitch Drop
Of course, a new World of Warcraft update also means a new Twitch Drop as well. Starting December 2 at 10 AM PT/1 PM ET until the same time on December 30, gamers who watch up to four hours of any Twitch streamer in the World of Warcraft category can add the Topsy Turvy Joker’s Mask transmog to their collections. Fans need only connect their Twitch and Battle.net accounts, watch a qualifying stream, and claim the reward when finished, after which the item will automatically appear in-game.
- Connect one’s Battle.net and Twitch accounts via the Connections page on Twitch.
- From December 2 until December 30, watch four hours of any streamer in the World of Warcraft category on Twitch to earn the Topsy Turvy Joker’s Mask head transmog.
- Claim the drop from the Twitch inventory page.
- The Topsy Turvy Joker’s Mask should be automatically added to the Warband cosmetic Collections pane within 24 hours.
The Topsy Turvy Joker’s Mask is an avian mask that may look familiar to long-time players. Purple and green colorations of this bird-like visage were available as the free reward at the World of Warcraft Trading Post in April. This version has never been seen before in the game, rounding out the trio with a gorgeous white and light blue color scheme.
Over the last several years, almost every update and event in World of Warcraft has had at least one Twitch Drop associated with it. Most recently, Blizzard gave out the Violet Sweatsuit to celebrate the Midnight beta, Lil’ Coalee for Legion Remix, and the Shadefur Brewthief to celebrate the release of World of Warcraft Patch 11.2, Ghosts of K’aresh.
Of note, this is almost certainly the final Twitch Drop that will be released during The War Within. The next one would likely happen no earlier than the Pre-Patch of Midnight, which is technically the 12.0 update for the expansion. Regardless, it is definitely going to be the final one fans will see until the new year.
What’s Next in World of Warcraft?
Speaking of which, the World of Warcraft: Midnight Pre-Patch is right around the corner. Though it doesn’t have an official release date yet, evidence from the Public Test Realm suggests it may release on January 20, the day after Legion Remix ends. This update will ostensibly introduce a bunch of Midnight’s core features, including class changes, the Devourer Demon Hunter, and Housing Endeavors, along with the pre-expansion event centered on the Twilight’s Blade cult.
Then, on March 2, World of Warcraft: Midnight itself will fully release, opening the gates to all the new content coming in the expansion. Four zones, including a revamp of Eversong Woods and Zul’Aman, a level cap of 90, dozens of bosses spread across various dungeons and delves, endgame activities, and the Haranir allied race will officially arrive on that day. However, players who pre-purchase the World of Warcraft: Midnight Epic Edition can enjoy most of this content three days early.
