Xbox Game Pass Is Losing 3 Games Today

Turnip Boy Robs a Bank and two other titles are leaving Xbox Game Pass later today. This will bring the total number of Xbox Game Pass removals for July 2025 to nine.

Microsoft typically pulls games from its subscription service every two weeks. It most recently did so on July 15, when Xbox Game Pass lost half a dozen titles, including The Case of the Golden Idol, Mafia: Definitive Edition, and Tchia.

Rumor: New Xbox Game Pass Tiers Possibly Leaked

More Xbox Game Pass tiers may be in the works, according to some newly leaked evidence coming directly from Microsoft’s servers.

Three more games are set to follow later today, July 31. The latest wave of Xbox Game Pass departures encompasses Gigantic: Rampage Edition, Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess, and Turnip Boy Robs a Bank. All three originally debuted as day-one releases that have been available to Microsoft’s subscribers since 2024. However, they arrived at different times: Turnip Boy Robs a Bank launched in January, while Gigantic: Rampage Edition and Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess arrived in April and July, respectively.

While there is no universal time when Xbox Game Pass titles pending removal are pulled from the service, the process usually occurs around midnight, local time. Therefore, anyone wanting to acces the soon-to-be-departing games will likely still be able to do so until July 2025 comes to an end in their time zone. With only about half a day remaining until this trio is pulled, achievement hunters don’t have enough time to do much beyond perhaps tackling Turnip Boy Robs a Bank, which is technically beatable in such a limited time frame. This wacky series will soon be continuing with Turnip Boy Steals the Mail, which was announced back in May 2025 but hasn’t yet been confirmed as a day-one Xbox Game Pass title.

July 2025 Has Been a Big Net Positive for Xbox Game Pass

Taking a broader look at the forthcoming catalog rotation, a departure list with just three titles is an uncharacteristically small batch of removals for Microsoft’s subscription service. The last time that only three games left Xbox Game Pass at once was at the tail end of August 2024, when the platform lost Atomic Heart, Guilty Gear Strive, and NBA 2K24. Overall, with nine removals and 17 new games added, July 2025 has been a big net positive for the XGP catalog.

Looking at the first seven months of the year on the whole, 92 titles have so far left Xbox Game Pass since the start of 2025, counting today’s trio in advance. Meanwhile, Microsoft added 96 new games to its content catalog during the same period, beginning with Carrion and ending with Grounded 2 on January 2 and July 29, respectively.
