Microsoft has revealed the second wave of titles being added to Xbox Game Pass in May. This includes another day-one release joining the long list of games launching on the service this month, as well as some award-winning titles that will surely have many subscribers thrilled. Xbox Game Pass has had a strong year so far, and the gaming service continues to offer a pretty good value proposition for gamers who like to have access to a wide variety of titles at all times.
The subscription service has already added a number of exciting games in May, including Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, Dredge, and Revenge of the Savage Planet. Bethesda’s first-person shooter Doom: The Dark Ages joined the Xbox Game Pass lineup on May 15, rounding out the offering for the first half of the month. Most recently, subscribers received Firefighting Simulator: The Squad and Police Simulator: Patrol Officers, perfect for gamers who like to fight fires, fight crime, and rescue civilians.

Some of the games coming in the latter half of May had already been revealed, but Microsoft has now filled in some of the gaps of what will be coming to the subscription service to finish out the month. Xbox Game Pass got another day-one release on May 21 in the form of Monster Train 2, the sequel to 2020’s roguelike deckbuilding game with a locomotive twist. Subscribers have two more launch-day titles to look forward to as well: a narrative adventure from creator of Katamari Damacy called To a T and Spray Paint Simulator, which releases on May 29.

The other newly announced titles coming to Xbox Game Pass in May include Tom Clancy’s The Division 2, STALKER 2, Tales of Kenzera: Zau, and the award-winning Metaphor ReFantazio, an RPG by Studio Zero that launched to widespread acclaim in October 2024. Inverge Studios’ action-adventure game Creatures of Ava will also be joining the Game Pass library, giving players the chance to explore varied ecosystems and save the fauna they encounter from a planet-wide infection. Crypt Custodian by Kyle Thompson, a Metroidvania about a recently deceased cat cleaning up the afterlife, rounds out the selection of titles confirmed to be coming in May.
Some of the titles coming to Xbox Game Pass in June have already been confirmed as well. The first of these is Symphonia, dubbed by developer Sunny Peak as a “non-violent and poetic platformer.” One of the more highly anticipated titles being added in June is The Alters by 11 Bit Studios, which has the player creating alternate versions of himself in order to escape the lethal rays of the rising sun.
