How to Get Essence of Ice in Hytale

Essence of Ice can be obtained as loot for killing Yetis, Frost Skeletons, and Frost Snails in the Whisperfrost Frontiers (Zone 3) in Hytale.

Frost Snails move slowly, on top of the large, frozen glaciers. They emit a faint, blue glow from their bodies. However, this glow is very dim and can often be mistaken for the glow from Azurecap Mushrooms, Blue Glowing Mushrooms, or even Blue Crystal Shards.

If you see brown huts or brown tiles on the map in Zone 3 (instead of black pixels), you’re looking at an Outlander base. These are a separate enemy type that do not drop Essence of Ice when killed, only Shadoweave Scraps and Outlander equipment.

How to Get Essence of Fire in Hytale

Essence of Fire can be obtained as loot for killing Burnt and Incandescent Skeletons, Firesteel Golems, Magma Slugs, Wraiths, and Emberwulfs in Hytale.
