Something feels off, right? Players have always been confused by the fact that out of the entire galaxy, out of hundreds of planets, they only fought on like thirty planets. Helldivers are used to fighting on a handful of planets on a daily basis, but this is a bit more extreme. The latest Major Order seems painfully repetitive. In less than 48 hours, Helldivers 2 players had to fight the Squids on Pilen V and Fenrir III… twice.
Pilen V, Fenrir III, Then Repeat…
So, the Squids are attacking all the important infrastructures, with the intention of preventing the Helldivers from stopping the Meridian Singularity. That part sounds completely reasonable. However, aren’t there any more significant institutions than the ones on Pilen V and Fenrir III?
The MO started with the attacks on Pilen V and Fenir III. Pilen V was defended, but Fenrir III “fell”. Then came the Turing defense, which was a success. Players patiently waited for the next attack, wondering where the Squids would strike next, and it was… Pilen V. And it was another success!

At the time of writing this article, the players are defending Fenrir III (again), and, by the looks of it, they’ll be successful. The players have around 4 hours left for this defense, but they should be done in around 2 hours.

Helldivers Worry They’ll Have to Go Back to Pilen V
What will happen after the current Fenrir III defense, will Helldivers 2 players have to go back to Pilen V? Or will they go to Turing? Some players undemocratically hope the Squids will invade Super Earth. As far-fetched as that sounds, some recent leaks mentioned Pilen V and an update, so we wouldn’t rule out that possibility. On the other hand, maybe J.O.E.L saw those leaks and decided to tease the players a bit.
However, some things are for sure: the players don’t like playing defense, they don’t like fighting the current Illuminate roster, and they truly hope they won’t be returning to Pilen V. One player, Breidr, used a popular meme format to explain the current situation.

Still, some players noticed that the defenses keep getting harder. AraxyzTheOne noted: “What is interesting, lvl threat is increasing, first it was lvl 5 in Pilen V, then lvl 8 in Fenrir III, then LVL 10 in Pilen V, and now LVL 11 in Fenrir III”. Truth be told, at this point, it’s impossible to say what the devs have planned. They announced the next patch would be for fixes, but you never know, the current Major Order might escalate.
So, dear Helldiver, we’d suggest you keep your expectations low. It’s better to be surprised than disappointed. While we wait for the story to unfold, we’ll be spreading Managed Democracy on Fenrir III. Join us! For Liberty and Super Earth.
