Gears of War: E-Day is now available to preorder ahead of its October 6 release, there’ll be several versions to choose from. Microsoft is releasing physical versions of the standard and collector’s editions on Xbox Series X, as well as a digital version that offers several downloadable bonuses. Here’s a closer look at what each one comes with.
Gears of War: E-Day preorder bonuses

Preordering Gears of War: E-Day will unlock early access to the game’s upcoming open beta on August 6, in which players will get to test out the multiplayer. You’ll also unlock the Exfil Dom and Exfil weapon skins for use in the game.
Additionally, those who preorder the $100 Premium Edition or the $200 Collector’s Edition unlock early access to the full game starting October 1.
Gears of War: E-Day Standard Edition

Gears of War: E-Day standard edition include the full base game. Physical Xbox Series X preorders are available at Amazon, Best Buy, Walmart, and GameStop. Digital preorders are available on console and PC.
Gears of War: E-Day Premium Edition

This version of the game will be a key that you can use to unlock and download the digital edition of Gears of War: E-Day on Xbox Series X and PC. Alongside the preorder bonuses, you’ll also get up to five days early access, exclusive weapons, premium in-game currency, and cosmetics. This is also an Xbox Play Anywhere version of the game, which means that you can play it on both console and PC, at no additional cost.

Gears of War: E-Day Collector’s Edition

Gears of War games have had some of the best collector’s editions over the years, and Gears of War: E-Day isn’t breaking that tradition. The official Collector’s Edition includes all preorder bonuses and downloadable content from the Premium Edition, as well as several collectibles. The main event in the bundle is a collectible statue of Marcus Fenix and Dominic Santiago alongside a replica of Carlos Santiago’s COG tags, a lithograph, an in-game photo, and a custom steelbook case designed by illustrator Luke Preece.
