Baki-Dou: The Invincible Samurai is now streaming on Netflix, and one scene in particular is already getting attention online. The new season features a Donald Trump-inspired character who pledges loyalty to Yujiro Hanma, the strongest fighter in the Baki universe, before visibly wetting himself in fear.
The scene adapts a controversial moment from the manga, where the Trump lookalike meets Yujiro and quickly realises he is dealing with someone far beyond the authority of any world leader. The anime appears to slightly alter part of the original scene by changing the salute used in the manga, but it keeps the central gag intact, which is that the fictional president submits to Yujiro and loses control of his bladder in the process.

For anyone unfamiliar with Baki, this probably sounds completely ridiculous. For fans, it is exactly the kind of thing the franchise has become known for.
Created by Keisuke Itagaki, Baki is a martial arts series that treats physical strength as the highest form of power. Politicians, military leaders, criminals, martial artists, prehistoric warriors, cloned legends, and even resurrected historical figures have all appeared throughout the story. In Baki’s world, governments often fear Yujiro Hanma more than they fear each other.
Yujiro is the strongest creature on Earth, a man capable of defeating armies, surviving impossible injuries, and intimidating world leaders into signing non-aggression pacts. This explains why political figures regularly appear in the series only to find themselves completely powerless in front of him.
The franchise has a long history of using thinly disguised versions of real-world figures. Previous manga chapters featured not only Donald Trump-inspired characters but other former U.S. presidents, and even an Elon Musk lookalike. One recent chapter went viral after readers discovered a scene involving both Musk and Trump-inspired characters in a particularly bizarre political meeting.
Baki-Dou: The Invincible Samurai adapts the Baki-Dou storyline. The series serves as a direct sequel to Hanma Baki and follows the arrival of a legendary samurai whose existence challenges everything modern martial artists thought they knew about combat.
The Baki franchise began as a manga in 1991 and has since spawned multiple anime series, OVAs, and Netflix adaptations. While the fights remain the main attraction, moments like a fictional U.S. president wetting himself in front of Yujiro Hanma are often what catches a lot of attention.
