Moonlight Peaks features Fireflies, which are extremely useful for your farm and not a burden like some other garden pests (we’re looking at you, Rabbiculas and Crows!) Fireflies can be used with the Firefly Sanctuary and Firefly Pollinator to produce top-quality crops, and we’ll explain the entire process so you can make your farm the greatest on the land.
How to Unlock the Firefly Sanctuary and Firefly Pollinator in Moonlight Peaks
As the story progresses, Persephone, Jada, and Winston are a human family who join the town. It’s Jada who is interested in history and artifacts, and even sets up a museum. If you donate to the museum and it becomes 10% full, Jada will give you the Firefly Sanctuary and Firefly Pollinator blueprints.
Both of these blueprints can be made at your Workbench with the following materials:
Firefly Sanctuary Recipe
- 10x Planks (made at the Refinery)
- 5x Refined Stone (made at the Refinery)
- 5x Rose Quartz (mined with an iron pickaxe from the Crystal Cave)
Firefly Pollinator Recipe
- 5x Wood (chopping trees with the axe)
- 5x Iron Bars (made in the furnace)
- 5x Rose Quartz (mined with an iron pickaxe from the Crystal Cave)
How to Use the Firefly Sanctuary and Firefly Pollinator in Moonlight Peaks
The Firefly Sanctuary and Firefly Pollinator go hand in hand. At the Sanctuary, a material called Firedrop is created. You get up to 23 Firedrops from one Sanctuary, the number increasing with the number of crops within its area. Planting this near your farmland will get you the most output.
Once you have Firedrops from the Sanctuary, you can focus on the Firefly Pollinator. This is a torch-like post that will improve the quality of all crops within a 9×9 area of the Pollinator. In order for it to do this, you have to give it Firedrops from the Sanctuary and continue to make sure it is filled.
Other Uses for Firedrop
In addition to being used to fuel the Pollinator, the Firedrops can be used when crafting. They are part of the recipe for Lawn Chair, Stacked Lawn Chairs, Camera, and Fishing Lures.
