How to Get a Striker Sprite in Fortnite

The Striker Sprite is one of five new Sprites added on June 25 with the first major update of the season. To get the Striker Sprite, players will need to score a goal at the new Soccer Pitch POI. The Soccer Pitch POI can be found far west of Sunken Shores, but it is likely to be heavily contested during the first few weeks.

All you need to do to get the Striker Sprite is drop at the Soccer Pitch POI and kick a football into the goal. Upon doing so, a Striker Sprite will spawn, which you can then grab and extract either by heading to an Extraction Point or using a Portable Extractor.

Once you have extracted the Striker Sprite, you can keep it and summon it again with Sprite Dust in the event that you lose it in another match. We will provide the Sprite Dust cost for summoning the Sprite once we get our hands on the info.

By default, the effect only lasts 6 seconds, but this can be increased by leveling up the Striker Sprite through searching containers or getting eliminations. Here’s a rundown of how the effect is upgraded with each level:

  • Level 1: Overdrive effect lasts 6 seconds
  • Level 2: Overdrive effect lasts 7 seconds
  • Level 3: Overdrive effect lasts 8 seconds
  • Level 4: Overdrive effect lasts 9 seconds
  • Level 5: Overdrive effect lasts 10 seconds
