How to find the Striker Sprite in Fortnite Chapter 7, season 3

There’s a vast number of unique Sprites wandering around the Fortnite island in Chapter Seven, season three, and this collection grows with each new update. One of the later seasonal additions is the Striker Sprite, which means you may have a tough time finding it.

While most Sprites are randomly found through exploration, there are a select few that can only be acquired through special objectives, as is the case with this one. Since the process for getting it is unique, it can be tough to figure out, so here’s how to find the Striker Sprite in Fortnite.

How to get the Striker Sprite in Fortnite

You can get the Striker Sprite by scoring a goal at the Soccer Pitch POI. This is a small area found near the southwest corner of the Fortnite island. It’s not a named POI marked on the map, so it can be a bit tricky to find. Here’s how to find and obtain this one.

• Travel to the Soccer Pitch POI. You can find it near the bottom left corner of the map.
• Find the soccer ball. Walk out onto the soccer field at this location, then look around for a soccer ball. It should be somewhere around the middle of the field, but it may have been kicked around by another player, so be sure to check all parts of it.
• Score a goal. Run at the soccer ball to kick it around. Aim for either of the goals on the field.
• Claim your Striker Sprite. As soon as you score a goal, confetti will appear by the net, and a Striker Sprite will spawn on the ground nearby so you can then extract it to add it to your collection.

Once you’ve got this Sprite, you’ll want to ensure you extract it as soon as possible to secure it a spot in your collection. Luckily, there’s an extraction site right in the middle of the soccer field, so consider calling it in right before you get to work scoring a goal to make sure you can safely get it out of there soon after claiming it.

Striker Sprite location in Fortnite

The Striker Sprite is exclusively found at the Soccer Field POI, which is an unnamed area on an island located slightly south of Heatwave Harbor and west of Sunken Shores. You can pretty easily spot the field when viewing the full island map once you know what to look for, but if you’re having trouble locating it, the precise spot is marked below.

What does the Striker Sprite do in Fortnite?

While equipped, the Strike Sprite grants the Overdrive effect whenever you mantle, hurdle, or wall scramble. This effect speeds up just about every aspect of your overall skillset, including weapon firing speed, reload time, and movement speed.
