The terrain can be tough in Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, but you can build structures to help you traverse the Australian continent as long as you have sufficient Chiral Bandwidth. The Chiral Network can only handle so many structures at once, so you can only build a limited number of things in Death Stranding 2.
The most useful structures like zip-lines and generators take up quite a lot of Chiral Bandwidth as well, so you’re going to run out of space pretty quickly if you use PCCs to solve every little problem. Other players’ structures are incredibly helpful since they don’t count toward your Chiral Bandwidth total, but you can only rely on the help of strangers so often. Thankfully, it’s fairly easy to upgrade your Chiral Bandwidth capacity in Death Stranding 2.

How to Upgrade Chiral Bandwidth in Death Stranding 2
The only way to increase Chiral Bandwidth in Death Stranding 2: On the Beach is to increase your connection level with the facilities throughout Australia and Mexico. By completing deliveries and returning lost cargo, you’ll earn Likes that improve your connection rating with each facility. When you earn enough Likes to rank up and add a new star to your connection level, your Chiral Bandwidth cap will be boosted.
You can see how much Chiral Bandwidth a structure will take up before building it with a PCC equipped. For example, zip-lines take up a whopping 500 points of Chiral Bandwidth. It takes a long time to level up your connection ratings to get more Chiral Bandwidth, so be mindful of how much free space you have left at all times.
If you’re trying to build a zip-line network, focus on upgrading existing zip-lines instead of building a bunch of level one zip-lines. Upgraded zip-lines have increased range, so you won’t need to use as much Chiral Bandwidth.
You can free up Chiral Bandwidth by deleting some of your existing structures that you no longer need. Other players’ structures don’t count toward the Chiral Bandwidth cap, so you have to destroy your own stuff. Thankfully, you can do this from anywhere. Just open the map, hover over the desired structure, and hold the delete button. You won’t get any materials back as a refund, but that structure won’t take up any Chiral Bandwidth once it’s gone.
